I’m a teacher and have enjoyed using the Mentos and Diet Coke experiment with my students since I first saw Steve Spangler do the experiment in 2003. Although this is cool, I think stretching the classroom walls is done when you make the soda and candy reaction into a science project/ experiment rather than just a huge mess. I saw on Steve Spangler Science a way to use a variable and the scientific method to do more than a blue man group activity… you get to do real science. http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/experiment/geyser-tube-science-fair-project
