Good example of shareholder meeting – Thanks Mariela for the contribution to the BLOG (and thanks to Google for making this available online)
You don’t have to get “fancy” to take advantage of online meeting and other on demand collaborations tools. In fact, most of my suggestions bellow are of free apps that you’re probably already using. Now, if you haven’t yet, you should maybe consider using them to become more productive at work or with your school assignments. Anyway, these applications might be all you need to conduct more productive meetings and work in collaboration with your team without leaving home or your favorite coffee house.
Ygma – free web conferencing application
Skype – Voip application, online chat, teleconferencing, video call
Google Talk online chat, video call
Google Docs – online document sharing (word, excel and power point) Excellent to avoid emailing documents to your group members back and forth. Instead, everyone will always be working on the same doc.
Gmail – The best email that is, in my opinion. Easy to organize by putting labels on conversation. Integrates with Goolge Talk (it saves your chats like it does to emails)
Google Calendar – to schedule meetings with co-workers – integrate with Gmail
Google Groups – allow you to have discussions with your group or co-workers, post documents and links for everyone to see, etc.
Delicious – allow you to research the internet and share links with your group members – excellent for assignments.
MSN messenger – online chat, video call
Yahoo msn – online chat, video call
The Corporations Act 2001 – provisions relating meetings
